Ratatouille tells the comic tale of a determined rat named Remy who dreams of becoming a famous chef. However, standing in his path are his disapproving rat family and the unfortunate problem of being a rat in an unquestionably rodent-phobic job.  

When a twist of events lands Remy in Paris, he finds himself in a restaurant made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau. There, Remy forges an unlikely friendship with Linguini, the garbage boy, who takes notice of Remy’s unique cooking talents. Lacking true talent, Linguini fails to make it as a chef. Together, the pair carves their own imaginative path to becoming the greatest chefs in Paris.
