In the fall of 2018, KPA proudly moved into a larger facility to accommodate our growing enrollment and expanding performing arts programming. What began as a dream quickly became a vibrant home for our students, families, and instructors. With three purpose-built studios, specialized dance flooring, and performance-inspired spaces, the new studio allowed us to continue providing exceptional training while fostering the sense of community that defines KPA.

The development of this space would not have been possible without the tireless work of our incredible volunteers. From the very first days of demolition to the finishing touches, our studio families came together to build something truly special. Parents, students, and community members generously gave their time, professional expertise, and encouragement. Their dedication is reflected in every corner of our studio and is a true testament to the family atmosphere we are so grateful for at KPA.

Our two largest studios feature professional dance flooring modelled after our performance stage, while our flagship studio includes a stage and backstage layout inspired by the Shell Theatre, allowing students to rehearse in an environment that closely mirrors their performance experience. The facility also includes dedicated costume and prop storage, as well as welcoming common spaces designed to bring families and students together.

In 2025, KPA entered an exciting new chapter with the expansion of our facility once again. This second phase introduced the KPA School of Music, providing dedicated instructional space for private and group music lessons, while also expanding our creative offerings beyond dance, drama, and musical theatre. Alongside the School of Music, we proudly launched White + Wood Event Rentals, a beautifully designed event venue that has become a gathering place for workshops, celebrations, community events, and creative experiences.

Today, KPA is proud to offer a dynamic, multidisciplinary arts facility where students of all ages can learn, create, perform, and belong. As our programs continue to grow, our commitment remains the same: to provide exceptional arts education in a community focused environment where every student feels inspired, supported, and at home.
