Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it is no exception for 12 year old Riley. After young Riley is uprooted from her Midwest life and moved to San Francisco, her emotions – Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness – conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house, and school. As Joy attempts to keep Riley feeling happy and positive about the move, Riley’s other emotions make the transition a bit more complicated. With emotions working overtime, and Joy and Sadness accidentally kicked out of headquarters, turmoil ensues.
